Terms of service

Last updated October 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of voar, the dashboard, the API and the MCP server. Installing the app on your organization, signing in to the dashboard or using an API key means you accept them.

What the service is

voar is operated by OpenWings Automação Comercial Ltda., registered under CNPJ 63.852.648/0001-06 at Rua Padre João Wislinski, 441, Santa Cândida, Curitiba, PR, CEP 82630-494, Brazil. voar is an independent service and is not affiliated with GitHub.

When an organization installs the voar GitHub App and sets runs-on in a workflow to a voar label, each GitHub Actions job runs on a new virtual machine in São Paulo (AWS sa-east-1). When the job finishes, the machine shuts down and its disk is deleted.

Account, organizations and keys

You sign in to the dashboard with your GitHub account. voar serves GitHub organizations only, not personal accounts. To use the service you must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the organization you connect.

Organization owners and admins can add credit, change the concurrent machine limit, adjust balance alerts and create or revoke read-only API keys (voar_...), including when connecting AI apps over OAuth or a terminal code. Organization members can view jobs, usage and the balance.

An API key grants read access to the organization's data on /v1 and /mcp. Treat a key like a password and revoke it in the dashboard's Settings if it leaks. You are responsible for what your organization's workflows run on voar's machines.

Free minutes, credit and payment

Every organization gets 3,000 free minutes a month, counted on the 2 vCPU machine. They reset at midnight on the 1st, São Paulo time (America/Sao_Paulo), and unused free minutes do not roll over to the next month.

After the free minutes, usage is deducted from your prepaid credit balance, bought in packs starting at $10 through Stripe Checkout. There is no plan and no subscription. Each finished job is billed on its own, rounded up to a whole minute (at least 1 minute), multiplied by the machine size's rate (1, 2, 4 or 8 units a minute on the 2, 4, 8 and 16 vCPU machines), at the rates published on the pricing page.

Your organization's first payment fixes its billing currency (reais, dollars or euros). When your balance and the month's free minutes run out, new jobs wait in GitHub's queue until you add credit. Purchased credits do not expire while the account is open and are non-refundable, except when a charge was made in error or the law requires a refund.

Acceptable use

Use voar to run your organization's software builds, tests and automation workflows. You may not use the machines for cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service attacks, network scanning, sending spam, distributing malware or any illegal activity.

Do not attempt to escape the virtual machine, reach other machines or internal control-plane networks, or bypass concurrency or rate limits by spreading load across multiple organizations.

You are responsible for the code, dependencies and secrets your workflows execute. In public repositories, an outside pull request can trigger workflows and spend your voar balance: configure in GitHub who needs approval to run workflows from forks before enabling public repositories in your runner group.

Availability and limits

Each job can run for up to 6 hours; at that mark the machine shuts down, whether the job has finished or not. An organization can run up to 2 jobs at once before its first credit purchase, and up to 10 after (or the limit set in the dashboard, within available fleet capacity).

Machines run on AWS in São Paulo (sa-east-1) and also depend on GitHub, Cloudflare and Stripe. We publish live measurements on /status, but voar carries no service-level agreement (SLA) and may experience maintenance or temporary spot capacity shortages.

Suspension and closing

You can stop using voar at any time by switching runs-on back to GitHub's runners or uninstalling the voar GitHub App from your organization. To close your account and delete stored records, email [email protected].

We may suspend an organization or revoke keys if these terms are breached, if a workflow threatens the service or our AWS account, or when required by law. Where possible, we notify the organization's owners first.

Liability

voar is provided as is. We do not warrant that any particular job will start without waiting or that third-party services (GitHub, AWS, Stripe) will be uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, OpenWings Automação Comercial Ltda. is not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim related to voar is capped at the amount your organization paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes, law and jurisdiction

If we make a material change to these terms, we email organization owners and admins at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use voar after that date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules where they apply. Questions go to [email protected].
